Whiskey Sour


The Whiskey Sour

  • 1 1/2 oz Whiskey
  • 3 oz of Lemon/Lime Mix
  • 2-3 Dash of Angostura Bitters
  • 1 Egg white

Do a vigorous dry shake to emulsify the egg white. Add ice and reshake. Strain into old fashion glass. Garnish with a Griottine cherry and zest of orange.

Variation (Fresher Ingredients)

  • 2 oz Whiskey
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 Egg white
  • 2 Dash of Angostura Bitters
  • 2 Dash of Orange Bitters

Same steps as before except you will need to double strain because of the fresh lemon juice. There will be lemon pulp which should be filtered from the drink.
